If you are driving down Williams Highway looking for a place to eat, you will not stop here. The exterior is poor and uninviting but the inside is nice, with a country theme.
When you walk into a restaurant at dinner time and find only one other couple there, it is a warning.
My wife's chicken was covered with a warm, close to curdled, sauce. Her mashed potatoes were just that, a scoop of mashed potatoes. No seasonings, no butter (or offered), no nothing. I tried the prime rib. Honestly, I left a pile of fat and gristle that was larger than the meat I started with. My "loaded" baked potato was a baked potato with butter, and a side of sour creme. Our server was exuberant, but disappeared for long periods of time. Save your money.

my family ate at the water hole lats night and had a great time it was very family friendly which is good because i have 3 kids the food was excellent and the prices were good

Food is well prepared, service is good. The atmosphere is the same as before. The menu is somewhat limited but enough choice for most. Certainly worth trying since it reopened.

I really don't understand any rating under an A here. Great food, great service, a place where I would take guests anytime.
