Picture a clear sunny day on a deck adjacent to the river with rafters floating by and possibly an eagle soaring above them. Place yourself in this setting on the edge of an expansive manicured lawn for a leisure lunch and it matters little what fare is presented on your plate, you are going to enjoy this lunch! Add one of their delightful salads or sandwich’s with a tall cold quaff of your choice and you have an “A” experience well worth the drive to Galice.

Dinner however, we found overpriced and over rated. Being in a benevolent mood, I give dinner a “C-“

These experiences are from 2007 and I’m looking forward to the upcoming season.

We have only enjoyed dinners at Morrison's. The river side setting is outstanding. The lodge is warm, rustic & charming. The menu is limited, offering a choice of two entrees freshly prepared the day of service. We have never been disappointed - always well prepared. The service is excellent. Wine & cocktails available (no bar). A very good value.
