I'm dropping my rating by one letter grade. We had breakfast there recently and had some surprise on our bill. It was 45 cents for an english muffin with our breakfast instead of toast. We were not advised of this charge. Next time we're in we'll see if this is mentioned on the menu or not.

What a nice place! This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. Cute old-time decor, good service and the omlette was good. The only negative was a minor one and something you find far too often at breakfast: hash browns that were single flipped and not quite cooked properly all the way through. It's a fun drive if you go the back way. I'll be back.

We just bought a home here. Been trying all the local fare and have had more than our share of disappointment in local fare. This is somewhat an EXCEPTION. A friend from Grants Pass took me to lunch here. Our abode is just around the corner, and I guess when it is right under your nose, you overlook it. It looks like any other mom and pop diner from the outside. In a tiny little strip center that also hosts an old fashioned barber shop. Inside, the other reviewers are right.....it is kitchy, period decor...the kind of place you used to drive your 57 Chevy to with your date to get a malt or a burger. Big menu for such a small place, but so far everything I have tried has been pretty good, especially breakfasts. Only thing I disagree with is my friend telling me about their famous peanut butter pie. We split a piece, and glad I didn't get one for myself......over the top rich and kind of foamy like. Not my cup of tea at all, but obviously popular with some. Fun place to stop, and for travelers, it is just off Exit 48 on the I-5 Rogue River corridor.

Skip the fast food fare, and spent a few minutes enjoying really good fare, a fun atmosphere, and pretty reasonable prices.

Nice to have mom's cooking so close by. I am a fan.
