Needed a side of mayo on my sandwich and her sandwich to add flavor. Decided that we won't be back. Rated by: grumpe Rating: 10-08-2009 04:58 AMReview Text had dinner with two friends this afternoon at circle J, split a ceasar salad and a 14" pizza the salad was great and there was plenty of salad for three the pizza had a sweet tomato sauce which we didn't care for and there was a very small amount of meats, was not impressed with the pizza but must say the salad was good. Loved the atmosphere and the menu. Rated by: CrazyNewWay Rating: 03-09-2008 12:56 AMReview Text I was very impressed with our Reuben sandwich. It was served quite non-traditionally on a roll with pepper jack cheese, sauerkraut, sliced pickle and sliced jalapeņos, (which I think were missing in action but, oh well) with a side of sweet potato fries. nice balance! I'd like to try the other sandwiches next.

I ordered the ceasar and the dressing was the creamy kind that tastes like bottled ceasar, although they say they make it homemade. The pizza was also just ok. The last two times however have been terrific. The soups are outstanding, as are the sandwiches, and you gotta love those sweet potato fries. The taste is totally unexpected. I've also tried the green flash pizza, which has pesto, sliced tomatoes and pine nuts, absolutely to die for. I didn't even have to ask for a refill on my drink. Awesome. Rated by: Skye Rating: 12-09-2006 05:14 AMReview Text Food was pretty good. I have a wheat allergy and they made one of their burgers for me wrapped in lettace leaves. Their sweet potato fries are excellent! My friend had a pizza and said it was tasty. I did NOT enjoy the service, but I have since heard that a few staff changes had been made. The food was all VERY fresh, and the best ingredients. I watched a ceasar salad go by that was nearly bigger than a breadbox! The staff was friendly and helpful, and they brought crayons and coloring books to the table for my children---always a bonus in my book! Rated by: Pane' Lady Rating: 10-25-2006 03:29 PMReview Text I have been to Circle J Cafe four times now, and each meal has been "A" on quality, presentaion, and taste. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. This place truly fills the senses. You can feed your brain with all of their wonderful cookbooks, while you wait to feed your face. We need more eateries like this in Grants Pass. Rated by: planetdancer Rating: 10-17-2006 12:47 AMReview Text Food is fresh & delicious. Innovative menu items, lots of meatless choices. The dressing was creamy and garlicy with finely grated parmesan cheese and crispy croutons. Rated by: FaerieChild Rating: 09-21-2006 05:49 AMReview Text Service is friendly and genuine, decor is fun and funky, food is fresh, unique and delicious. This is a great spot to go for a relaxing meal. You would feel comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, or for a meal before the theater. And whether or not you need to, go use the bathroom. Trust me.
