Have not been there since last fall and was not disappointed. Had my standard fried chicken and wife had her big burger. Food is great, prices have changed only slightly. If you get the chicken watch out, it's hot, even after several minutes but NOT greasy at all. Thick skin and crispy. Perfect for lunch. Enjoy and tell Cheryl your waitress you read it here...

Stopped by again today and it is a 36 mile one-way trip. Why? Well they have the best, large piece fried chicken platter. Second, our server was Cheryl and Cheryl does nice things like remembers you from the last time. Back to the food; damn good and plenty of it for a good price. Six pieces of chicken, order of onion rings, green salad and two ice teas for $15. The drive out there is a beautiful county road with large farms and you follow the Applegate River. Besides the chicken I love so much they have a daily special and numerous other items including chili cheese fries as a side dish. Beer wine and full bar for those who want that.

I had the prime rib sandwich with onion rings as the side. I requested the prime rib rare, and the waitress said the closest I could get would be medium rare. Medium rare turned out to be medium but, OK, I was warned. Other than being overcooked (from my perspective), it was good. The sandwich was served open face on sourdough bread that was toasted (or perhaps grilled) on one side, and accompanied by a dipping broth and horseradish.

The onion rings were excellent. I'm a big fan of onion rings, but I'm usually disappointed. Often, instead of sliced onion dipped in batter, They turn out to be minced onion mixed up with batter and breading, so you can hardly taste the onion. The onion rings at McKee Bridge Diner were perfect. Real onion rings, in a light, crisp batter. Not too greasy. Just the way I like them.

This is a nice, casual restaurant, with good food at reasonable prices. It's kind of out of the way, if you're not going to Applegate Lake, but why not go to Applegate Lake? It's beautiful up there!

I had the chicken and my wife had the hamburger. Both were large in size and very good. Burger is hand made and chicken was very crispy with great flavor. Service is slow because of only one server but worth the wait

Oh My! It was so good. I had ham, eggs, hashbrowns & toast. I asked for a side of their gravy they use for b&g to put over my hashbrowns. The gravy was so tasty, I would love to try their biscuits & gravy now. The piece of ham was very thick & delicious. The hashbrowns were so yummy! My daughter got French toast & it was cooked perfectly. According to my daughter, it was the best French toast she has ever had. I took a bite & agreed. My hubby & other kids got pancake meals & they were great too.

The only reason I gave it an A- that it did take a while to get our food. It was quite busy & one waitress.Although she did a great job refilling water & coffee & she was really nice:).
