User ReviewsRated by: CraigAnd Rating: 08-20-2007 08:37 AMReview Text The Winemaker Dinners, offered about 4 or 5 times a year, are outstanding - see my extensive review posted on 8/20/2007 in the Restaurant Forum. Rated by: CraigAnd Rating: 04-29-2007 06:12 PMReview Text We visited this restaurant several times last year and again in 2007. They remain an "outstanding" in our view not only for their special wine tasting dinners but also for regular dining. Chef Chad deserves kudos! Summer Jo's, remains one of our favorite restaurants in the Grants Pass area. Rated by: bean8989 Rating: 12-07-2006 12:43 PMReview Text Nancy groth has made Summer Joes the PLACE TO EAT!!! It is quaint, with romantic innocence. The food is always fresh and gorgeously presented on the plate. Even though the weather can be terrible this time of year, it still makes you feel you are sitting in a feild of wild flowers...
Thank you Nancy for bringing summer Joes to Grants Pass!!

Rated by: Former User Rating: 03-13-2006 02:08 PMReview Text Love this place for a fabulous meal. I had the scallops, yum! My husband had the lamb chope. Always have a great relaxing meal here. The servers are wonderful also. Rated by: CraigAnd Rating: 12-29-2005 10:17 AMReview Text We recently revisited this quaint farm house restaurant and were once again not disappointed. Home made fresh breads and dinner rolls accompanied the entrees. On this visit, we, and our guests enjoyed:
1) Hazelnut-encrusted Duck Confit with a Parsnip Puree, Winter Greens, and Pear-Apricot Compote was the "rave" of the evening. "The best I have had".
2) Wood-Grilled Flat Iron Steak was topped with a fruit sauce and blue cheese - served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Grilled Asparagus. "Excellent", so said one of our guests.
3) The Mint-Encrusted Rack of Lamb with Potato Risotto & Grilled Asparagus was simply outstanding.
4) Salmon En Papillote with Roasted Farm Vegetables and Caramelized Onions provided a wonderfully moist fillet of salmon.
The desserts of bread pudding, chocolate pyramid & pear tart were delightful and topped off a wonderful dinner.
There is a full bar and an extensive wine list (one of the best in the area).
Rating: A+ Rated by: CraigAnd Rating: 12-18-2005 09:35 AMReview Text This quaint restaurant is located in a charming country setting with a menu featuring daily specials that are often outstanding. We recently enjoyed fresh Ahi Tuna that was the best we have ever had, having ordered this entree in Chicago & New York (what more can we say!). Full bar and reasonable wine list.
